The Fall Show is just around the corner. As usual, it has been sold out once again. If you have not made your final plans to attend, you need to do so. Discounted room rates at the Marriott must be made by Nov 5th. We have a long waiting list for dealers wanting tables, so if you’re planning to cancel yours, Call Bill Price ASAP. We would like to help those on the waiting list, so they can make some plans. Hume Park’s (TMCA member # 140) Great grandson, David Shinkle was Wounded in Action on Oct 14th in Iraq. Let’s remember David and Hume in our prayers.. David was clearing a house as part of a Combat Action Team when he was wounded. Currently he is in intensive care and recovering from a skull fracture. Hume has three Great-Grandsons, and one Grandson in the service right now. Hume is our oldest member at age 95. Speaking of age, we have a new club member who is at the other end of the scale. Lets welcome Tucker Hamar, age 10, our youngest member. Tucker loves reading about military history, especially on WW2, and he loves collecting relics of all types. It’s great to see young kids like Tucker taking an interest in American history. |
